I had a nightmare about Dead Rising last night. I know it was about Dead Rising because there was Zombrex as well as glowy-red-eyed zombies at night. "Zombies at Night" sounds like an 80's hair metal band's top hit. Ok, moving on... In this dream, I was with a family that had a little boy, a husband, and a wife, and by the end of the dream (spoilers), the young boy had turned into a zombie and also took down his mother. There was a lot of running around and barely making it through doors, and toward the end, everyone ...

On the evening of my fifth birthday, my parents took me to my room and showed me an extra present they had thrown together. They had hooked up an old tv and my brother's old NES, and with it came Bubble Bobble and Kid Icarus. The Nintendo sat on the shelf nestled between my Golden Books and my Fischer Price record player. Over that first year, I played a lot of games that my brother grew tired of. As spring and summer approached, I was getting antsy to go outside. With my extreme accident-prone-ness, my mom was never happy to have ...

In our 10th episode, Rachel and Jen throw a giant party including Alex D. Jones (I just love his full name) and Steve and John from Wither Studios! The Wither Boys are on the ‘cast to tell us about their new and totally already successful Kickstarter project for their iOS game Crowman & Wolfboy (link located HERE!). Alex is just there to swear at us. There’s obviously some Skyrim talk, which has managed to wipe our minds clean of anything else that exists.
Intro- Jet Set Radio Future
Outro- Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Combat Music

This week’s episode has me missing Rachel still, and to keep myself from rambling incessantly and incoherently, I’ve invited Bran to join me as a guest host. He’s one of the editors over at PikiGeek and has some pretty strong views as to what kind of people listen to this podcast. Tune in and try to keep track of how many times I want to punch him. Also we talk about video games.
Intro: The Polish Ambassador
Outro: Skrillex (the dubstep is for Bran)

Time flies when you are locked down by unreasonable contracts. Rachel is out sick with death, but Jen is back with a guest host! Put away your pitchforks, internet, it’s Eric Ruth, of Eric Ruth Games! This episodes has nothing to do with Clint Eastwood, I promise, but it does have a good deal of video games. Actually, it’s ALL about video games. Look out!
Intro: Crystal Castles
Outro: Daft Punk

Oh god we are back. Can’t believe it was 5 weeks that we were away. Just know it isn’t your fault and we both missed you very much. It’s
actually your father’s fault. He’s an asshole who tries to keep us from doing fun things while he’s off with the Tardis. Intro: PPPPPP
Outro: Shy Child

In this episode, we consider writing a letter to Showtime concerning their dick policy. We also discuss awkward internet moments, Thor, hats, the Royal Wedding, and the amount of people listening in. It’s more than you’d expect. Hell, it’s more than we’d expect. Intro: !!! Outro: Flight of the Conchords

We hit this week hard and late, both of us being spectacularly busy, but we came out of it with a podcast nonetheless. Dedication is what we bring to the table. Unfortunately, that dedication comes at a price. This podcast wasn’t edited at all. Just dropped right into Soundbooth and exported as is. You’ll notice it when Rachel leaves to take a piss. Just know we love you guys. Intro and outro are secrets this week. Enjoy it.

We manage to hold off talking about Portal 2 for at least 30 minutes. It’s really tough. We fill the time until then with freaking out about Doctor Who, how Rachel used to be part of a certain Faygo-drinking cult, and Weird Al vs. Lady Gaga. Then we wrap everything up with a creepy OkCupid story. Tuning in is recommended. It’s one of the most right things in the world. Intro: Bit.Trip.Beat Outro: Royksopp
Rachel Edit: I meant Sarah Jane was a favorite ORIGINAL companion, obvs.

Don’t let the title fool you, this episode isn’t JUST pokemon. It’s zombies, portals, Humble Bundles of video game joy, Kirsten Dunst’s boobs, Ryan Gosling’s lap, a sexy voice or two, and yes, Pokemon. Listen and enjoy. Intro: Zombi, Outro: Team Teamwork

RACHEL IS BATMAN. Or the Village. We aren’t really sure just yet. One thing we do know is that toward the latter half of this podcast she seems almost… clairvoyant. Or that’s just Pamela screwing everything up, Pamela being our recording software. She’s a whore. Next week will be better, we promise. Intro: Passion Pit, Outro: Streets of Rage

Listen, Internet, I know things are getting hot and heavy, but we just need an episode to talk about us, you know? Really focus on what’s important to US. This episode is all about SHOES AND HOW MUCH WE LOVE THEM. Ok, that’s a lie. This episode IS all about Rachel and Jen. And video games… and maybe a little Vincent Price… It’s breaking our podcasting cherry and, dear Internet, you are here to infect us with your disease. YEA, I SAID IT! (recorded: 2/27/11, forgive the dated info about Pokemon) Intro: Anamanaguchi, Outro: Girl Talk

When I was little my favorite toys were Ninja Turtles and Legos, I mean, I played with barbies too... but I would rip their heads off and switch them because I was too lazy to change their clothes. I've always been a little bit of a tom boy, and tend to get infatuated with things that "normal" people aren't. I remember being in 5th grade and befriending a girl because her family was wealthy and had a PC. This was probably about 94 / 95 and not very many people owned their own at the time. I would go over her ...
